Mercato – Nice has increased its proposal for Moffi

 

According to information relayed byWest France, OGC Nice has sent a new proposal to Lorient, with a view to obtaining the signature of Terem Moffi. The Aiglons club would have increased its offer to 20 million euros, plus 3 million bonuses. The leaders of the Merlus have not yet responded to his proposal.

The striker would have already agreed with the Nice. The player would prefer a new experience in France, rather than a departure for the Premier League, where Bournemouth and West Ham make eyes on him. The Hammers have also transmitted a proposal higher than that of Nice, namely 28 million euros.

Delort absolutely wants to leave

23-year-old Terem Moffi has scored 12 goals in 18 Ligue 1 games this season. The Nigerian international was recruited in Belgium, at KV Kortrijk, on 1is October 2020. The Calabar native has since scored 34 goals in 87 appearances for Lorient. He also delivered 7 assists.

In Nice, Terem Moffi could replace Andy Delort, who went to arm wrestle to leave. The player did not show up for training on Wednesday. The former Montpellier player would indeed have already agreed with the FCN, which failed to reach an agreement with the Aiglons. The operation could nevertheless succeed through a loan with a mandatory purchase option. And its amount could be 5 million euros.

OGCN currently occupies the 10and position in the Ligue 1 standings, with 25 points obtained in 19 games. The first part of the Aiglons season proved disappointing, given the investments made during the summer transfer window (70 million euros).
