Real Betis has secured the services of Chadi Riad. The player arrives on loan from FC Barcelona for next season with an option to purchase», says a statement from the Spanish team.

Chadi Riad, Africa U23 champion with Morocco, thus becomes the sixth reinforcement of the green and white team after the recruits of Ayoze, Marc Roca, Bellerín, Bartra and Isco, adds the same source.

Chadi Riad, 20, began his professional career in the youth ranks of Majorca, from where he moved to the Barça training centre in 2019.

The new Real Betis player has spent the last three seasons at the Catalan club, alternating a period of loan with Sabadell, and last season he participated in the barrage for the promotion to the second division with the Barça Athletic.

Chadi Riad, the undisputed starter of FC Barcelona’s first reserve team, made his debut with the first team against Osasuna last season.
