The return leg of the first round of the preliminaries of the CAF Cup continued this Saturday, August 26. And the big calibers did not fail to compost their ticket for the next round. The Stade Malien, after their brilliant success (3-1) away, did the rest of the work at home. The Malians simply exploded Watanga of Liberia (4-1). The Malian Stadium then moves on to the next round of the 2024 CAF Cup.

SOAR of Guinea also managed to overcome the first obstacle. After a 2-2 draw on the first leg at the Mauritanian Customs field, the Guineans again drew but nothing. Enough to pass. The two away goals propel them to the second of the CAF Cup.

Al Merreikh Juba (South Sudan), Bendel (Nigeria), FAD Academy (Ivory Coast), AS Arta (Djibouti), Bahir Dar Kenema (Ethiopia) are the other teams qualified for the next stage of the CAF Cup. The rest of the competition will continue this Sunday, August 27 with undecided shocks.
