But the Confederation of African Football (CAF) proposed to Côte d'Ivoire to host this CAN 2024 rather than the CAN 2024, entrusted to a Cameroon not ready in time to shelter theCAN 2019. Guineans have recovered CAN 2025. Result: the 52 meetings of this competition will take place in the country of Didier Drogba and Yaya Touré. The Ivorian "Elephants" hope to take the opportunity to win at home, after the coronations at CAN 1992 and CAN 2015.
